UNIVERSITY OF BIELSKO-BIALA - UNIVERSITY FOR YOU!

Cost of living

In this section, the approximate cost of living in Bielsko-Biala will be calculated.

Undoubtedly, the below mentioned cost of living will be somewhat averaged, as needs and desires vary depending on economic and social needs.

Accommodation:

The University provides a place in a comfortable and modern university dormitory, provided that the application is completed. (Please take a look at the "Accommodation" tab, which is at the top of the page).

Cost of living in the furnished rooms:
Place in a 3-bed room - 460 zł
Place in a 2-bed room - 490 zł
Place in the room for one - 530 zł

It is also necessary to make a deposit of PLN 150, which will be returned upon departure from the dormitory.

Movement:

There is a convenient transport network in the city (Please take a look at the "Life in Bielsko"). The cost of a student's one-month ticket for all bus lines costs 50 zł.

Food:

Bielsko-Biala food chains give a huge selection of products at low prices. A weekly balanced set of products (including dairy products, minced meat / chicken / other meats, certain types of vegetables) will cost 60/70 PLN. Thus, a monthly meal will cost the student from 300 to 550 zł, depending on preferences.

Social life:

The University and the Center of International Exchange always invite students to join free excursions and events. We are proud to announce that apart from traveling to Krakow, Zywiec and other nearby cities, we also carry out international trips.

However, if the student wants to lead an active life, visit restaurants, clubs and cinemas, then the calculation is given below.

The movie will cost 20/25 zł per session
Lunch in one of the best burgers cafe- up to 35 zł
Going to the club - from 40 zł

Thus, a student living in the University dormitory, having a balanced diet, as well as a leading social-active life, will spend 1200 zł per month. This amount is one of the lowest in Poland due to the attractive prices of the developing region.

Bielsko-Biala is an economically smart choice!

MA Programme in International Business

Faculty: Management and Transport
Level of studies: Master studies
Language: English

Studies in English in the field of Management with a specialization in International Management (currently: International Business; IB) were launched in 2014. They are addressed to all those students who "reach higher" and are interested in acquiring business knowledge and skills together with raising language competences.

International Business is distinguished not only by the modern concept of education, but by the high quality of the study program based on proprietary curricula consulted with business partners of the major which are international enterprises. International Business also means cultural diversity and the resulting international integration of students. IB students come from, among others from Ukraine, Germany, India, Bangladesh, Albania, Spain, Turkey, Slovakia and the Czech Republic (some of them participate in the entire course of study, and some as part of 1-2 semesters of study under the Erasmus+ program). Guest lectures are given by lecturers from Cyprus, Great Britain, Spain, Slovakia and Bulgaria.

Another advantage of IB is the interdisciplinary character. Curricula include subjects in management, economics, law, psychology and political science. As a result, our graduates acquire unique knowledge and practical skills valued by employers in the areas listed. The above advantages constituted the basis for distinguishing IB studies within the National Program for the Accreditation of Studies "Studies with the Future" by the Foundation for the Development of Education and Higher Education. In 2018, we received: the 'Studies with the Future' certificate, which was awarded for the outstanding modern concept of education, the highest quality of implemented programs and compliance with the needs of the labor market, as well as the Extraordinary Certificate 'European Laurel' for the implementation of advanced program solutions focused on internationalization education and development of scientific and didactic cooperation with foreign centers.
