ERASMUS+ COURSES 2020/2021

The Faculty offers 46 courses in English for Erasmus+ international students. We offer also Erasmus+ Internship for students in various Laboratories. Foreign exchange students can choose one out of two options:

  • Summer Internship (3 months: June-September)
  • Internship during the academic year (since October until May)

MAIN RESEARCH AREAS:

Department of Mathematics:

  • Convex analysis. Functional equations and inequalities. Multivalued functions.

Department of Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals:

  • Methods of artificial intelligence. Network modelling and simulation. Software Engineering.
  • Strength analysis of crimped joints and multilayer/laminar plates.
  • Testing of materials, anticorrosion coatings, alloys heat treatment.
  • Use of reverse engineering in the modelling of industrial design.

Department of Combustion Engines and Vehicles:

  • Dynamic testing (analysis), methodology of gear design.
  • Study of longitudinal and transverse movement of vehicles. Multibody dynamics analysis.
  • Modelling actual engine processes. Supplying engines with alternative fuel. Control and optimization of engine processes.

Department of Manufacturing Technology and Automation:

  • Methods of multi-criteria (multi-objective) optimization in production processes.

Department of Production Engineering:

  • Study of industrial networks operating in real-time systems.

Department of Computer Science and Automatics:

  • Information Technology Security.
  • Internet of Things.
  • Networks: optical and radio networks, wireless sensor networks and their security.
  • IT systems.
  • Parallel computing.
  • Computer vision.
  • Electro-magnetic compatibility.
  • Electronics.

Laboratory of Metrology:

  • Study of measurement strategies and calibration procedures as well as determining the measurement uncertainty in mechanical engineering.

Division of Mechanics:

  • Dynamic analysis of mechanical systems.

Solidary with Belarus - NAWA Scholarships
The University of Bielsko-Biala cordially invites academic staff and students from Belarussia!

Together with the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP), NAWA is going to carry out three support measures dedicated to the Belarusians on behalf of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
