Department of Nursing and Emergency Medicine:

  • Maternal-fetal fatty acid metabolism.
  • The influence of combination photodynamic therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy on the process of healing of chronic wounds and burns.
  • Seeking new diagnostic and therapeutic factors in the process of healing of chronic wounds and burns.
  • Wound dressings produced by means of tissue engineering through seeding of aminon stem cells, autologous keratinocyres, fibroblasts and bacteriophages onto allogeneic cellular matrices including the use of modern solutions.
  • Research into nanocoating of metallic materials concerning their biocompatibility, quality and their application in immunology.
  • Hypothermia.
  • Creating and implementing the management system of medical rescue information, aimed at increasing the efficiency of medical care management upon the contact of emergency rescue and hospital treatment.
  • Research concerning clinical aspects of nursing care for elderly patients, those with chronic diseases and illnesses which are deemed as civilizational, pertaining in the 21st century.
